Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans

Rory McIlroy made his return to golf after securing his initial victory at the Masters, which granted him the coveted green jacket and completed his set of major championships known as the career Grand Slam. Joining forces again this year with Shane Lowry, who he paired up with previously to clinch the Zurich Classic, they aimed to retain their championship status in the sole two-person tournament featured on the professional circuit.
But it was Andrew Novak and Ben Griffin who took the title and with it, both collected their first PGA Tour wins. Novak lost in a playoff to Justin Thomas just last week at the RBC Heritage. He and Griffin took home $1.3294 million each from an overall $9.2 million purse. They're also now both in the PGA Championship next month at Quail Hollow in North Carolina. Twin brothers Nicolai and Rasmus Hojgaard were in second place, one shot back. McIlroy and Lowry tied for 12th place.
The week began with 160 participants—comprising 80 two-person teams—at TPC Louisiana in Avondale. The PGA Tour utilized its priority ranking system to populate the roster; afterward, those who signed up could choose their partners provided that these teammates held some form of PGA Tour standing. During the tournament, pairs competed using the four-ball format for the first and third rounds and switched to alternate-shot foursomes for the second and concluding rounds. Ultimately, thirty-six duos advanced to play over the weekend.
