Meanwhile, the remaining seven stores stay operational with ongoing liquidation sales offering discounts of up to 70%.

"Pursuant to this arrangement, pending approval from the Bankruptcy Court regarding the deal, the victorious bidders intend to initiate the closure of the company’s activities and execute liquidation sales across every retail site.
With approximately 800 locations across the country, Joann announced that their stores will stay operational during the liquidation sale process. According to USA Today, the outlets in Clinton, Brookfield, and Hamden are among the 255 stores scheduled to close by the end of April.
“Leadership at JOANN, along with our Board, advisors, and legal partners, have exerted maximum efforts towards achieving a preferable result that would maintain the company’s operational status,” stated the release. “We remain dedicated to cooperating positively with the successful purchaser to facilitate a structured winding down process that reduces adverse effects for all parties involved.”
The schedule for the closure of the remaining seven stores has yet to be disclosed, however, they will all ultimately be shutting down.
