The program will give eligible Georgia Dashers access to retirement savings, health, dental, and vision insurance, and even paid time off.

In order to qualify, Georgia Dashers must generate at least $1,000 during the initial quarter of 2025. These participating Dashers can also choose to add their own money to the mix, and both the account and all associated funds will stay accessible and movable with them.

Georgia has become just the second state in the nation to join this initiative, with participants believing it might transform their lives. This trial program mirrors another one that was introduced in Pennsylvania last year. More than 4,000 Pennsylvanian Dashers enrolled in the previous iteration of the project.

The Georgia Dashers, such as Mario Smith, who recently joined the program, stated that something like this is transformative for their lives.

“Many individuals struggle with financial management,” Smith stated. “Therefore, having funds accumulate specifically for your retirement, savings, benefits, and health insurance can be seen as a significant advantage that we should aim to provide.”
